KTF to Double Investment for HSDPA Network in 2006

Korean KTF announced on October 12 that it will double its investment in its HSDPA network in 2006 from the originally planned 350 billion Won (US$366.5 million; US$1=955.1 Won) to 700 billion Won (US$732.9 million). In 2007, KTF will invest another 400 billion Won (US$418.9 million) to extend the coverage of the network nationwide. The nationwide network is expected to be completed by March 2007.
